I’m DJ VYLBALYV, an electronic DJ and artist out of San Diego, CA. My sound is all about vibey, up-tempo EDM and deep house, but I love mixing in way more than that. I grew up on 90s and 2000s hip hop, and there’s nothing better than blending those classic tracks with modern electronic grooves to create something that feels fresh but still nostalgic. I don’t stick to just one lane — I like to keep the energy unpredictable, taking people on a ride where every drop or transition hits different.

When I’m behind the decks, I’m always paying attention to the vibe in the room. For me, DJing isn’t just pressing play, it’s about building a connection with the crowd. I love the challenge of dropping a throwback hip hop anthem into a rolling deep house beat, or flipping a track you didn’t see coming into something that makes the whole room move. My sets are about creating a party that feels alive and in the moment, where people can let loose and get lost in the music.

Being from San Diego has definitely shaped my style — the mix of beach vibes, nightlife, and underground energy here shows up in the way I play. Whether it’s a packed club, a rooftop party, or a festival stage, my goal is always the same: to give people an unforgettable experience and keep the energy high from start to finish. At the end of the night, I want people walking away saying, “That was a vibe.”
